TTB engineered a custom CO₂ laser marking enclosure built around the Videojet Gemini 30W IP54 SHC100c straight laser, providing a safe, fully integrated marking solution for industrial production lines. The laser is housed in a light‑tight, safety‑interlocked enclosure featuring a single access door secured with a dual‑channel fork safety switch to meet stringent machine‑safety requirements.

The laser is mounted on an adjustable bracket, offering approximately 16 mm horizontal and 30 mm vertical positioning to ensure precise alignment during operation. The system includes a dedicated entry port for customer‑supplied extraction hardware, supporting clean and compliant laser marking.

Safety outputs from the dual‑door switch (2× NC contacts) are delivered via a 5‑metre ferrule‑terminated cable for straightforward integration with existing control systems. The enclosure frame is constructed from anodised aluminium and polycarbonate, with final design adjustments made to suit the customer’s machine layout and application needs.

Featured Case Study 3: Filling, Capping and Inspection Line

TTB supplied a high‑performance filling and capping line for the Life Science industry, engineered with a durable SS304 stainless‑steel frame, polycarbonate guarding and precision‑machined nylon components. The system is controlled via a Siemens safety PLC, ensuring full compliance with Life Science safety and validation standards.

A fully integrated vision inspection system verifies correct cap application by monitoring cap position, number of turns and applied torque from the capping assembly. Products that pass inspection move to a wraparound labelling station, where a Cognex vision camera confirms accurate label placement before release to downstream processes.

This automated solution improves quality control, reduces manual handling and supports Industry 4.0‑ready traceability across critical Life Science packaging operations.
